Case Description
My 7 Year Old daughter has a large cavity in an upper right baby tooth. My Dentist - who is very competent , but not a pdeiatric specialist - is concerned that the cavity might be too big for him to fill. He has said he will try to fill it but if he has too drill too much out - my daughter will need a root canal. My dentist has already recommended someone for that work - if necessary.
I'm concerned that root canal would be traumatic for my 7 year old. I'd like to know if there are other options. My daughter has already lost her front teeth - so I suspect her permanent teeth are already coming-in.

I would suggest a pediatric dentist. Dr. Nan Sherman or Dr. Ron Rubin are both excellent.
