Help According to the pediatric dentist my son needs all four front teeth pulled and he wants to also do a pulpectomy on a back tooth along with several other procedures like a stainless steel crown. I am concerned I know my son has dental problems but some of what this dentist wants to do seems extreme for a 4 yr old. Can't the back tooth be filled?? Also the dentist gave me a prescription for valium to give my son before the procedure with a somewhat large dose is that normal? The also say the may have to tie his hands down. I am very concerned please respond with your opinions on what is best.
